In light of today being the first day of deer season here in Wisconsin (as well as for some other states here in America I'm sure), I felt the desire to go with an orange color theme for my new wallpaper. I call this one "Endurance", making this my 53rd motivational wallpaper.

Orange is an interesting color that led me to this topic (once I read up on the color). The color of orange has very high visibility, so you can use it to catch attention, which is exactly why hunters use it during the gun deer season. The color of orange represents enthusiasm, creativity, determination, success, encouragement, and stimulation. Orange has also been said to symbolize strength with endurance, leading me to this subject.

Endurance, as a topic, was not easy to find good quotes on. Scouring the Internet and reading quote books produced very little in my search on the topic. But I feel this quote best described what the highest level of endurance really is.

It probably should not surprise me that I had a hard time finding quotes on endurance. It is a topic that most people could easily ignore or overlook. It is not a "feel-good" topic to ponder on, which is a possible reason why it's not popular. When one is enduring something, usually they are not experiencing pleasant times or circumstances.

However, it is a highly admirable trait to acquire. Without endurance, we cannot get over that hill, that problem, that hardship. Endurance enables us to press on during the hard times, which enables us to reach the end. A runner in a marathon race must acquire endurance during his training, otherwise he would never be able to make it to the finish line.

We all must build our faith to the point where we acquire endurance. The kind of endurance that when we make it to the end of that struggle, we can look back someday and see that it turned something awful or difficult into something of glory.
